Our Private Health Check Up Procedure
- All of our Health Screening options include an assessment of your current medical history, physical examination and indicated tests. From our Gold Package and over, you will be given a written report that consist of your results, and personalised health and lifestyle advice from the findings.
- A Follow-up with your doctor after the medical is included in our Deluxe packages so that you can discuss your results in detail and in person. If there are any problems indicated, we have extensive experience in further investigations and referrals to leading Consultant specialists in our network.
- Along with EU legislation and present recommendations, we do not perform routine chest X-Rays, however they can be arranged when clinically indicated.
- We can provide help with post-travel screening, visa medicals, pre- and post-deployment medicals, work health assessments and industry-specific medicals, as a vital part of our Occupational Health Services.

All of our health checks are fully customisable based on your requirements. We do recommend however, that you start building your health screen based on our packages, as they have been designed with our over 30 years of practice in mind to provide patients with the highest level of relevant testing, at extremely competitive prices.

Mediscreen Basic
The Mediscreen Basic screening is our entry level screening solution and has been designed for individuals of all age groups. We do recommend repeating this basic screening annually, so that patients can continually assess and improve their health, resulting in better outcomes across time.
The Mediscreen Basic Health Screening is performed by a health screening nurse at the practice and you will receive a copy of your measurements and your blood test results. There is no review or consultation with the doctor included at this level of service, however if you would like interpretation and a discussion of your results, this will be at a reduced rate of £75 - a 50% discount on our Consultation fee.

Mediscreen
The Mediscreen is a comprehensive health screening solution for a more detailed insight into your present health. In addition to the tests included in the Mediscreen Basic Screening, the Mediscreen includes Thyroid, additional Iron and Vitamin D blood tests as well as screens for the detection of colonic cancer. As with the Basic Health Screening, we suggest undergoing this health screen on an annual basis.
The Mediscreen Health Screening is performed by a health screening nurse at the practice and you will receive a copy of your measurements and your blood test results. There is no review or consultation with the doctor included at this level of service, however if you would like interpretation and a discussion of your results, this will be at a reduced rate of £75 - a 50% discount on our Consultation fee.

Mediscreen Gold Health Screening
The Mediscreen Gold solution is a premium package aimed at healthy people of all age groups. Included in this package is all of the tests and examinations included in the Mediscreen option, with the addition of a reported 12 Lead ECG (Electrocardiogram) and Chest X-Ray for the detection of heart and lung complications. Furthermore, in addition to the Mediscreen blood tests are Blood Group and CRP blood tests. We recommend the Mediscreen Gold to all healthy patients wishing to undergo health screening for non-specific reasons, as included at this level is an unlimited consultation and examination with the doctor - very helpful in detecting problems that even you may not be aware of.
As with all of our health screens, we do recommend repeating these on an annual basis, so that any changes or problems can be identified as early as possible, helping improve your outcome.

Mediscreen DELUXE MOT
- The Mediscreen Deluxe Mens Health Screening is mainly for men who are over 40 and want a complete evaluation of their health with a specific focus on underlying health conditions and tumour markers. In addition to our Gold package, patients undergoing the Deluxe Health Screening should expect:
- A thorough consultation and examination with our private GP and an ultrasound of the abdomen. Together with the measurements, observations and blood tests, you will be given a detailed report assessing your current health and what steps can be taken to improve or maintain good health.
BNP blood test for detecting heart failure at an early stage and lessen the risk of heart failure at later stage in life. Tumour markers CA 19-9 - pancreatic tumour marker, S100 - Carcino Embryonic Antigen - CEA and AFP - testicular tumour marker together with other observations, and examinations could help to diagnose cancers early. Necessary testing, treatment, counselling and referrals for Oncologists are always available.

Mediscreen Deluxe Women’s Health Screening
The Mediscreen Deluxe Women’s screening is mainly for women who are above 40 and want to undergo a full evaluation of their condition with an emphasis on gynaecological health as well as tumour markers. In addition to the Gold package, patients should expect:
A thorough consultation with our private GP who to discuss your health condition and a full consultation with our Consultant Gynaecologist to performing a Trans-Vaginal Ultrasound Scan and a Cervical Smear test. Further screening includes a breast ultrasound, to screen for lumps or abnormalities.
