1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Walk in Clinic London, a CQC-registered private healthcare facility located at 34 Thurloe Place, South Kensington, London SW7 2HQ.
By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
2. Services Provided
Walk in Clinic London provides self-referral healthcare services including:
- Private blood testing and pathology services
- Sexual health screening and STI testing
- Comprehensive health assessments and health MOTs
- Hormonal profiling and wellness screenings
- Phlebotomy and sample collection services
Our services are provided by registered healthcare professionals including GMC-registered doctors and NMC-registered nurses.
3. Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 16 years of age (patients under 16 require parental/guardian consent)
- Provide accurate personal and medical information
- Have legal capacity to enter into a contract
- Comply with all clinic policies and staff instructions
4. Booking and Appointments
4.1 Appointment Booking
Appointments can be booked online through our website or by telephone. Confirmation will be sent via email or SMS. It is your responsibility to ensure contact details provided are accurate.
4.2 Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) may result in a cancellation fee
- Failed attendances (no-shows) will be charged in full
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments in exceptional circumstances
4.3 Arrival and Punctuality
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Late arrivals may result in reduced consultation time or rescheduling.
5. Fees and Payment
5.1 Pricing
All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice, but any changes will not affect confirmed bookings.
5.2 Payment Terms
- Payment is required at the time of booking or before service delivery
- We accept major credit/debit cards and online payment methods
- A deposit may be required for certain services
- Full payment is required for comprehensive health screenings and packages
5.3 Refunds
Refunds are provided at our discretion and only in exceptional circumstances. Services cancelled with appropriate notice (24+ hours) may be eligible for refund minus any administrative fees. No refunds will be provided for services already delivered or for late cancellations.
6. Patient Responsibilities
As a patient, you agree to:
- Provide complete and accurate medical history and information
- Disclose all current medications, supplements, and allergies
- Follow pre-test preparation instructions (e.g., fasting requirements)
- Inform us immediately if you experience adverse reactions
- Attend scheduled appointments or provide adequate notice for cancellations
- Treat staff, other patients, and clinic premises with respect
- Follow post-test instructions and recommendations
- Arrange follow-up with your GP when clinically indicated
7. Clinical Limitations and Scope of Service
7.1 Not Emergency Services
Walk in Clinic London is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 999 or attend your nearest A&E department immediately.
7.2 Diagnostic and Screening Services
We provide diagnostic testing and health screening services. We do not provide ongoing treatment for chronic conditions or prescription medications except where clinically appropriate and within our scope of practice.
7.3 GP Referral
Abnormal results or findings requiring further investigation or treatment will be communicated to you with recommendations to consult your GP or an appropriate specialist. We strongly encourage all patients to share test results with their registered GP.
8. Test Results and Reports
- Results are typically available within the turnaround time specified for each test
- Results will be communicated via your preferred method (email, phone, or patient portal)
- We will make reasonable efforts to contact you regarding abnormal or urgent results
- It is your responsibility to check for results and follow up if not received within the expected timeframe
- Results remain confidential and will only be disclosed to you or with your explicit consent
- You may request copies of reports at any time
9. Confidentiality and Data Protection

11. Limitation of Liability
Walk in Clinic London and its healthcare professionals exercise reasonable skill and care in providing services. However:
- We cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results
- Laboratory testing has inherent limitations and occasional technical failures may occur
- Rare false-positive or false-negative results may occur despite quality assurance procedures
- We are not liable for consequences arising from your failure to follow advice or attend recommended follow-up
Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided, except where prohibited by law (e.g., liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence cannot be excluded).
12. Professional Indemnity Insurance
All healthcare professionals at Walk in Clinic London maintain appropriate professional indemnity insurance as required by their regulatory bodies (GMC/NMC).
13. Complaints Procedure
