Malaysia Visa Medical

Malaysia requires a medical visa and a yellow fever certificate together with accompanying documents prior to entry to the country.

Our Malaysia Visa Medical Examination Includes:

Whether you are visiting Malaysia for work or residency, you need to complete a medical examination by a certified doctor followed by laboratory tests and subsequent vaccinations and a Chest X-Ray:

  • Cholera Test
  • Hepatitis A & B Test
  • Typhoid Test
  • Yellow fever vaccination for travellers and children aged 9 months or over.

Vaccine recommendations:

  • Tetanus
  • Japanese encephalitis (JE)
  • Rabies

Instructions for the medical examination:

Applicants for a Malaysian visa, irrespective of age, need a medical examination by an accredited doctor. Please remember you must schedule your health test at least ten days before your scheduled visa interview.

Recommended immunisation vaccines:

Make sure all scheduled courses (especially children) are up to date with the usual immunisations including the seasonal flu vaccine and MMR.

A booster is usually recommended for Poliomyelitis.

What things do you need to bring to your appointment?

Our doctor will ask for the following items to complete your visa forms:

  • A copy of your immunization records.
  • Medical records of past surgeries or illnesses.
  • Four 3x4 recently taken photos.
  • Your passport and a photocopy of the biographical page in your passport.
