Kuwait like any other country requires a visa to its potential visitors. And under meticulous visa application process, you might want to plan for it ahead of time. It is essential that all foreign nationals present the following requirements before entering the country:
A passport valid for at least six (6) months from the arrival date in Kuwait
The approved Kuwait e-Visa reference number
Those applicants who claimed to have GCC residence permit may be required to show the GCC residence document on arrival at the Immigration Authorities at the entry point to Kuwait.
The Kuwait Visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. When you apply for the e-visa and receive it, the document will sustain its validity for 90 days.
The government also launched the E-Visa or Kuwait Online Visa. This is an electronic travel authorization which expedites the visa application process online.
Eligible countries for E-Visa are as follows: Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bhutan, Brunei, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Laos, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, China, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican, Vietnam and all countries member of the Gulf Cooperation Council which includes Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates

There are cases wherein Kuwait requires vaccination certificates necessary to be granted entrance to the country. This is mandatory if the visitor comes from an area that’s infected by a viral disease such as yellow fever or cholera. The vaccination certificates are proof that the visitor is healthy and doesn’t carry any diseases with him.
In any case, the visitors are coming from infected countries, besides providing certificates. They might also be subjected to a medical examination after a few days from their arrival. They also need to declare the last country he visited with the Kuwait consulate.
