Bahrain requires a visa medical with accompanying documents prior to entry to the country.

Selectively recommended vaccines - for those considered a high risk:
Yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travellers 9 months and over coming from countries and having transited (for more than 12 hours) through an airport where yellow fever is a risk.
Doctors and medical practitioners are required to perform tests for diseases prevailing at the time of the request.
The 'Medical Examinations Form' must be signed and stamped or sealed by a certified doctor, together with all laboratory tests undertaken.
Visa applicants, irrespective of age, need a medical examination by an accredited doctor. Please remember you must schedule your examination at least ten days before your scheduled visa interview.
