STD Testing in London

We are a leading sexual health clinic, specialise in providing an urgent and confidential STD testing in London. We also provide useful advice on emergency contraception and safe sexual intercourse. Our specialist doctors are always here at our walk in clinic to give you helpful advice for maintaining a good sexual health.

Our doctors will discuss your concerns and give you an examination in respect of your sexual health to determine if STD or STI testing is required. Any positive tests will be followed up with a conversation (over the telephone if more convenient) with the doctor once the results are available and a treatment plan with appropriate medications for you.

When to get a full STD test done?

Unsafe sex in a new relationship or if you are experiencing symptoms it is relatively easy to get checked out with a sexual health screen. It is safe, confidential and quick. Once the doctor has done a thorough examination he/she may recommend further investigations and a full health screen recommended. Certain tests may need repeating after the appropriate time. The doctor may even suggest multiplex testing which achieves a more accurate and early detection for the presence of hepatitis B, C and HIV.

YOUR HEALTH, OUR PRIORITY

Same day appointments, as much time as you need with the doctor and instant referrals to our network of Consultant Specialists.

If you are experiencing health concerns, you don't have to wait any longer.

What tests does a full sexual health screen include?

The full STD testing package includes P24 antigen for HIV detection, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV I & II, Herpes, Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Syphilis, and bacterial infections, Mycoplasma and Ureaplasma. The doctor will take a blood sample or a urine sample and/or swabs to discover any presence of infection.

How can you get prepared for the test?

You will need to have a full bladder when you come to your appointment so please do not pass urine for at least 2 hours prior to the appointment. This ensures the most accurate results. Do not forget to inform the doctor or health professional if you are taking any medications, and let us know what it is as it may affect the test results.
